When we think about the relational aspects of prayer, another aspect comes to the surface. Prayer is a matter of the heart. All close relationships come about because we care about the other person. Understanding the goodness of God then, we come to God in reverence, with thanksgiving, and trusting that God cares and will respond to our prayer.
