Jesus proved that He was who He said He was through his life, death, and resurrection. He is the Son of God, our Saviour. Those of us who believe in Jesus regardless of ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender or culture-all who believe are children of God. We are who He says we are-we are accepted, secure and we are significant.
At Melbourne Inclusive Church we do not believe that our same sex attraction or gender diversity is a sin but rather a beautiful expression of the diversity of God. But we all sin and we need a Saviour. This good news is for everyone so regardless of your view we should agree on this one thing…we are not saved by the law-we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. This debate was finished at Calvary.
