As Christians we understand phrases like God walks with us, God empowers us, God uses us? But what happens when we personalise these statements? God walks with “me” For some that simple change in language brings doubt and insecurity. Sure, God will do that for you, sure God talks to you, but who am I? God can’t use me, I can’t see how God would empower me? Why would God help little ol me? Enter the story of Gideon.
