The Old Testament gives us a view of life before Christ. When the people sinned God called them on their sin and they were separated from God. When Jesus came he brought grace and truth. Jesus, following God’s lead speaks the truth to us in love when we sin but instead of separation from God we are shown grace which includes forgiveness. Grace however gives us so much more. Grace gives us the ability to love people who may not love us back…that is the essence of grace…being given something we don’t deserve.
